Position Summary

We are seeking a Backend-Focused Full-Stack Developer with hands-on experience developing secure, scalable web applications and integrating AI capabilities into production systems.

The developer will be responsible for backend architecture, APIs, databases, authentication, cloud deployment, and third-party integrations while also supporting frontend development. The role includes integrating generative AI, intelligent search, chatbots, document processing, recommendation systems, and workflow automation into our LMS, robotics, and business platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and web applications.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate internal and external systems.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization using RBAC, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and session management.
- Design and optimize MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, schemas, queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Develop responsive frontend components and connect them to backend APIs.
- Integrate AI models and APIs into business and learning applications.
- Build AI chatbots, intelligent assistants, semantic search, and document question-answering solutions.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
- Implement document processing for PDFs, resumes, assignments, course materials, and reports.
- Create prompt templates, structured AI outputs, evaluation tests, and fallback mechanisms.
- Protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized exposure through AI prompts, logs,



or third-party services.
- Integrate payment gateways such as Stripe and support backend payment reconciliation.
- Implement email, SMS, notification, reporting, and file-storage services.
- Develop admin, student, tutor, parent, and employee-facing application modules.
- Write unit, integration, API, security, and end-to-end tests.
- Diagnose performance issues and improve application speed, availability, and reliability.
- Deploy and maintain applications using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and manage development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, database diagrams, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, AI engineers, robotics engineers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, demonstrations, and production support.

Required Technical SkillsBackend Development
- Robust experience with one or more backend technologies:
- PHP and Laravel
- Node.js and Express/NestJS
- Python and FastAPI/Django
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience building and documenting REST APIs.
- Experience with API security, validation, error handling, logging, and rate limiting.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, or modular application architecture.

Frontend Development




- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or a comparable frontend framework.
- Ability to develop responsive interfaces and integrate frontend components with APIs.
- Understanding of accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.

Databases
- Strong experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database modeling, migrations, indexing, query optimization, and transactions.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL technologies is beneficial.

AI and Machine Learning Integration
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or open-source AI models.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and RAG.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or pgvector.
- Ability to implement structured model outputs, tool/function calling, response validation, and AI evaluation.
- Understanding of hallucination risks, prompt injection, data privacy, content moderation, and responsible AI practices.
- Basic knowledge of Python AI/ML libraries is preferred.

Cloud and DevOps
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Linux, web servers, SSL certificates, domains, DNS, and environment configuration.
