Responsibility
- Analyze met-mast, LiDAR and other wind measurement data. Perform data validation, filtering, gap filling and quality checks.
- Conduct short-term and long-term wind resource assessment.
- Perform MCP (Measure-Correlate-Predict) analysis using suitable long-term reference datasets.
- Evaluate terrain, roughness, elevation and wind characteristics.
- Support wind-flow modeling using WAsP / WindSim / OpenWind or equivalent tools
- Calculate Gross AEP and Net AEP.Evaluate wake, availability, electrical, environmental, curtailment and other project losses.
- Support feasibility studies and new-site screening.
- Prepare WRA, wind-data analysis and energy-yield reports.
- Review external WRA and energy-yield reports.
- Positive communication and coordination skills for working with OEMs,
consultants, developers, independent engineers and internal project teams
- Follow applicable IEC standards and industry best practices for wind measurement and energy assessment.
Education And Experience
- B E/B-Tech-Electrical/Mechanical + MTech-Energy
5+yrs of experience Wind Energy / Renewable Energy Work Area: Industrial Plants, Energy & Environmental Technology
