About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Database Developer with 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing SQL Server database systems. The ideal candidate will specialize in complex T-SQL development, stored procedure design, query performance tuning, and SSIS package maintenance to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and reliability across our enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- T-SQL &
- Stored Procedure Development: Design, build, and maintain highly optimized stored procedures, complex queries, functions, triggers, and database views to support business applications.
- Performance Tuning &
- Optimization: Analyze execution plans, indexes, locks, deadlocks, and query statistics to identify bottlenecks and optimize database performance.
- SSIS Development &
- Maintenance: Build, deploy, debug, and maintain complex SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages for ETL data pipelines and integration tasks.
- Data Quality &
- Integrity: Implement database constraints, transaction handling, and error logging to ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Database Architecture &
- Support: Collaborate with software engineering and analytics teams to design scalable schema architectures,



perform code reviews, and support production database deployments.
- Reporting (Advantage): Design, develop, and update reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to support operational and analytical business needs.

Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- 7–8 years of dedicated experience as a SQL Server / Database Developer.
- Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, including advanced stored procedure logic, dynamic SQL, CTEs, and window functions.
- Deep expertise in database performance tuning (Index tuning, Execution Plan analysis, Profiler/Extended Events, Query Store).
- Robust hands-on experience with SSIS ETL packages (development, configuration, scheduling, error handling, and maintenance).
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, dimensional modeling, and database security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills for debugging production database issues.

Preferred / Added Advantages

- Experience developing and supporting SSRS reports.
- Exposure to database deployment automation (CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps, or SQL Server Data Tools / SSDT).
- Familiarity with cloud database platforms (Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
