Role Description

This is a full time remote role for a Senior Android Developer at MyCommunityToday. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and work alongside product managers, designers,



and engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

You will also mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers on the team.

Qualifications

- Expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Solid understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration
- Proficient in using version control systems, such as Git
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with Firebase or other backend-as-a-service platforms is a plus
