Company Description GG Wastech Pvt. Ltd., founded in February 2021, is a fast-growing waste management start-up based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with pan-India operations. The company focuses on sustainable waste disposal and logistics, supporting a circular economy through innovative, environmentally responsible solutions.

Its services include supply of Alternative Fuel Resources (AFR) from industrial and agricultural waste and RDF, biomining of legacy waste, EPR execution, and construction of SLFs and LTPs, along with comprehensive logistics support.

Role Description The Sr. Accountant role is a full-time, in office position based in Raipur. The Sr. Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly and annual closing activities.

This role will prepare and review financial statements, monitor budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Sr. Accountant will coordinate with internal teams and external auditors, support financial analysis for management reporting, and recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

The role also includes supervising junior accounting staff, maintaining proper documentation,



and supporting financial planning for ongoing and new projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core accounting principles, including general ledger, financial statements, and month-end closing.
- Proficiency in taxation, statutory compliance, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid skills in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring in a dynamic business environment.
- Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and capability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and supervise junior staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA (completed or pursuing) are an advantage.
