As a Sports Community Manager at Fitistan, you'll be responsible for building, managing, and growing an active sports and fitness community across digital and offline platforms. You will engage with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, sports communities, creators, and partners while planning and executing community-led activities, events, challenges, and campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports and fitness, highly energetic, creative, and excellent at building relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Build and manage Fitistan's sports and fitness community across social media, digital platforms, WhatsApp/online groups, and offline events.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase community growth, engagement, participation, and retention.
- Plan and organize sports events, fitness challenges, tournaments, meetups, and community activities.
- Create engaging community content, announcements, polls, challenges, and discussions.
- Actively engage with community members and respond to queries, feedback, and concerns.
- Identify and collaborate with athletes, sports personalities, coaches, influencers, creators, and sports clubs.
- Build relationships with colleges, gyms, academies, sports organizations, and local sports communities.
- Encourage members to participate in Fitistan challenges, events, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Coordinate with the marketing and creative teams to promote community activities and events.
- Gather community feedback and insights to improve products, events, and user experiences.
- Track and report community metrics such as member growth, engagement, participation, retention, and event attendance.
- Identify emerging sports, fitness, and community trends and develop new engagement initiatives.
- Represent Fitistan at sports events, fitness events, college activities, and community gatherings when required.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive,



and energetic community environment.

Skills Required:

- Robust understanding and passion for sports, fitness, and community building.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong event planning and coordination skills.
- Ability to engage and communicate with diverse communities.
- Good knowledge of Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and other community/social platforms.
- Strong content ideation and social media skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to independently manage community initiatives and events.
- Basic understanding of community analytics and engagement metrics.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining community data and reports is an added advantage.
- Energetic, proactive, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in community management, sports marketing, event management, social media, or a similar role.
- Experience working with sports communities, fitness brands, clubs, academies, or events is preferred.
- Candidates with strong experience in building or managing sports/fitness communities will be highly preferred.
