Senior Integration Consultant – WorkatoRole Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Integration Consultant with strong enterprise integration and consulting experience, including hands-on experience with Workato or other enterprise integration platforms. The role will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, lead technical discovery and solution design, develop integration solutions, and drive technical delivery through production deployment.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of project experience in software development and consulting in enterprise environments and 6+ years of integration development experience using Workato, webMethods, Boomi, or MuleSoft.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with UST’s clients to understand business objectives, determine project scope, priorities, and functional requirements for integration solutions.
- Act as the primary technical engagement point for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate technical workshops, requirements gathering, and solution walkthroughs with business and technical stakeholders.
- Estimate delivery effort, timelines, implementation approach, and technical risks.
- Lead detailed technical design sessions and produce solution design documentation.
- Develop integration solutions using enterprise integration platforms and associated technologies.
- Develop system requirements, design solutions, build, test, troubleshoot, and deploy both front-end and back-end integration components.
- Clarify customer requirements, evaluate alternative solution options, and recommend the most suitable technical approach.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and customer technical teams throughout delivery.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, development standards, and operational best practices.
- Support production deployments, defect resolution, and post-implementation activities where required.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute reusable assets,



best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Delivery Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery of assigned work packages from requirements through to production deployment.
- Deliver agreed project milestones on schedule while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Identify technical risks, issues, dependencies, and escalate appropriately.
- Provide regular technical progress updates to project management and customer stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, deployment instructions, and operational handover documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production releases, and knowledge transfer to customer support teams.
- Ensure delivered solutions are production-ready, maintainable, and supportable.

Must-Have Skills
- 15+ years of project experience with software development and consulting in enterprise environments.
- 6+ years of integration development experience using Workato, webMethods, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Proven project experience delivering enterprise integration solutions using Workato.
- Strong experience designing and developing enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience integrating SaaS applications, APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, source control, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience troubleshooting complex integration issues across multiple systems.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, webhooks,



event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.
- Understanding of security best practices, authentication mechanisms, and enterprise integration governance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and facilitate solution workshops confidently.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under project deadlines.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and technical writing skills.

- Experience working closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and customer technical teams.
