This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization acquires quality products at the best possible prices, establishing and maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing the procurement process to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and product innovations to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring reliable sources of supply.
- Monitor and control procurement costs to optimize the company's budget and profitability.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as bulk purchasing, vendor consolidation, or alternative sourcing.
- Ensure materials meet technical specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements




- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, production, and stores teams to understand material requirements
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent overstock or shortages.
- Need to follow up with supplier to get material as per project timeline
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism within the procurement department.
- Stay up to date with legal and ethical regulations related to procurement, including environmental and social responsibility considerations.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and guidelines.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up for on-time delivery
- Strong communication and coordination skills

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics
- 5-10 experience in supply chain, procurement, preferred from electronic background
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Expert in ERP Tally with procurement software tools.
- Knowledge of industry- specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- This role demands a combination of strategic thinking, solid interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics to effectively manage the procurement function.
