Role Description

Solution Architect (SmartOps) Position Summary UST is seeking an experienced Solution Architect (SmartOps) to lead the architecture, design, and governance of intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise architecture, automation platforms, AI/ML technologies, and system integration patterns, enabling the delivery of scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions that drive digital transformation and operational excellence.

Skills &

Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Solution Architecture, Intelligent Automation, Digital Transformation, or Software Engineering. 5+ years of experience designing and implementing automation, AI/ML, and data-driven enterprise solutions. Proven experience leading enterprise-scale solution design and implementation from discovery through production deployment. Strong expertise in solution architecture, systems integration, API-led connectivity, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise application modernization.

Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Workflow Automation, AI/ML platforms, Generative AI, and Agentic AI frameworks. Strong understanding of cloud platforms, security frameworks, compliance requirements, and operational governance. Excellent customer-facing consulting, stakeholder management, and business engagement skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions. Robust leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end enterprise solutions spanning Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Workflow Automation, AI/ML, GenAI, Agentic AI, and system integrations.



Define scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable architecture patterns aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives. Create and maintain solution architecture documents, integration specifications, process flows, deployment models, and technical roadmaps.

Establish architecture governance, security controls, compliance standards, operational frameworks, and platform best practices. Lead architectural reviews and ensure adherence to solution design principles, quality standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and delivery leaders to align technology solutions with business outcomes.

Drive the adoption of AI-first architecture principles and identify opportunities to leverage emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and customer value. Define integration strategies across enterprise applications, cloud services, third-party platforms, and data ecosystems. Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle, from discovery and design through implementation and production support.

Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, frameworks, and industry trends, incorporating relevant innovations into SmartOps solution offerings. Support pre-sales, solution estimation, proposal development, and customer workshops by providing architecture expertise and strategic recommendations. Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, security, and compliance requirements while enabling long-term business growth and operational excellence.
