We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Backend Testing, API Testing, and Mobile Application Testing.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans across web, backend, APIs, and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Conduct hands-on API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.
- Test backend services and validate API responses, business logic, data integrity, and integrations.
- Perform mobile application testing across different devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track bugs using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement discussions and contribute to identifying potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
- Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure existing functionality remains stable.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve product quality and testing processes.
- Contribute to building and maintaining QA processes, test documentation, and best practices.

Requirements

- Experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing and Backend Testing.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and JSON.
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, Jira, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Good understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good To Have

- Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience with SQL/database testing.
- Exposure to performance or load testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and basic debugging/log analysis.
