Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Software Development Engineer!

Our client, a global CRO, are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to support their APAC and EU teams on a 12-month contract. This is your chance to collaborate with top-tier professionals, develop cutting-edge data platforms, and showcase your expertise across diverse technologies.

What You’ll Bring

- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Spark SQL, Scala, and Python programming
- Expertise in DBT and Snowflake development
- Strong SQL skills (Hive, Postgres, HWC tables)
- Experience working in on-premises environments like Cloudera, as well as AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Airflow for orchestrating workflows

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly

Nice To Have

- Experience with Agile and Lean SDLC processes
- Clinical data domain knowledge
- Skills in Java and batch scripting
- Understanding of industry and quality standards

Preferred Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years in software development, particularly in data engineering and cloud environments

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to work a standard day shift (42.5 hours/week)
- Ability to collaborate across international teams from APAC and EU regions

- Engage in 2 to 3 interview rounds to demonstrate your expertise
