– Software / Automation / Robot Engineer Position

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software / Automation / Robot Engineer with hands-on knowledge of industrial robot operation, automation scripting, machine vision, PLC interaction and machine integration.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting robot, vision, PLC and software integration, machine commissioning, troubleshooting and automation sequence development. The ideal candidate should have robust practical automation knowledge and the ability to quickly learn and work with the company's software and scripting framework.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and jog industrial robots using a teach pendant.
- Understand robot programs, motion commands, position teaching and sequence execution.
- Perform basic robot program modification and troubleshooting.




- Configure and optimize OPT / Vision cameras for image acquisition.
- Adjust camera focus, exposure, gain, lighting, trigger and ROI parameters.
- Configure basic image enhancement and vision inspection parameters.
- Develop and modify automation scripts using VBScript / VB-based scripting.
- Write basic automation sequences using conditions, loops, variables, timers and error handling.
- Develop scripts using the company's in-house scripting modules.
- Understand machine sequence logic, interlocks, sensors, robot sequences and camera triggering.
- Work with PLC signals, digital I/O and robot-to-machine handshaking.
- Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP and serial communication issues.
- Analyze logs and identify software, sequence and automation-related failures.
- Coordinate with PLC, robot, vision and electrical teams during machine commissioning.
- Support machine trials, commissioning and production troubleshooting.
- Prepare basic test reports, issue descriptions, software change notes and machine documentation.
