Role Description The Social Media Marketing Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Surat. This position is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging social media content across platforms to promote Om Gems’ products, brand story, and values. The specialist will manage day-to-day social media activities, including content scheduling, community engagement, responding to messages and comments, and monitoring trends relevant to gemstones and jewelry.

The role involves collaborating with marketing and sales teams to support campaigns,



optimizing content based on performance insights, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. The specialist will also track key metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend improvements to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing for planning and executing online campaigns.
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing to develop and optimize platform-specific content.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to engage audiences, collaborate with internal teams, and represent the brand clearly and professionally.
- Experience with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest) and basic analytics tools is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in jewelry, fashion, or luxury goods marketing is an advantage, as is knowledge of visual storytelling and basic design tools.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
