Position: Social Media & Content Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, coordinating with clients, and driving audience engagement across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand and client objectives.
2. Write, curate, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
3. Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content planning, posting, monitoring, and responding to queries, comments, and messages.
4. Create and manage content for social media campaigns, including captions, posts, scripts, and other digital communication requirements.
5. Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, gather inputs, share content for approvals, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
6. Collaborate with internal teams including design, content, and marketing to develop campaigns and maintain brand consistency.
7.



Monitor social media performance, track key metrics, and prepare reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
8. Stay updated with social media trends, digital communication practices, emerging platforms, and competitor activities.
9. Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns to increase engagement and reach.
10. Manage multiple client accounts and ensure timely delivery of content and social media requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, content writing, digital communication, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience managing social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter.
- Strong content writing and editing skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience in client coordination and managing multiple requirements/deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and scheduling tools.
- Prior experience working with government departments, ministries, PSUs, government campaigns, or government clients will be preferred.
- Creative mindset with robust attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
