A leading MNC is looking for an experienced SmartCOMM / Thunderhead Developer with strong hands-on experience in Smart Communications (SmartCOMM), template design, document composition and data mapping.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic, data-driven customer communication templates and supporting integration with backend systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer communication templates using SmartCOMM / Thunderhead.
- Design dynamic, data-driven templates for statements, letters, notifications and other customer communications.
- Configure business rules and perform data mapping within SmartCOMM.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.




- Perform template testing, debugging and optimization.
- Support integration of SmartCOMM with backend applications and APIs.
- Troubleshoot document generation, formatting and output-related issues.
- Support deployment and environment management using AWS services.
- Ensure communications comply with branding and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation and implementation of best practices.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Smart Communications / SmartCOMM / Thunderhead / GMC Inspire.
- Strong experience in template design, rule configuration and data mapping.
- Hands-on experience with SmartCOMM Designer, Content Author and Control Center.
- Good knowledge of XML, XSD, XPath and XSLT.
- Understanding of document composition, formatting and output management.
- Experience with batch and on-demand document generation.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Java.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON and data mapping.
- Basic understanding of AWS services such as S3, EC2 and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for template styling.
- Solid communication, documentation and collaboration skills
