JD- Slitting Operator

Job Context and Purpose

1. To operate slitting machines efficiently in the aluminium foil conversion department.
2. To carry out machine setup, adjustments, and start-up/shutdown procedures.
3. To slit aluminium foil to specified widths with precision and consistency.
4. To monitor and control machine parameters such as tension, speed, and alignment.
5. To inspect in-process material for dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
6. To handle raw materials, finished goods, and scrap safely.
7. To identify minor machine or process issues and take corrective actions promptly.

Key Competencies: Strong knowledge of slitting processes with the ability to set up and operate machines accurately, ensure precise foil widths, and maintain consistent product quality.
