Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at interior project locations. This role includes supervising site workers and subcontractors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that all tasks align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

The Site

Supervisor coordinates material deliveries, manages site resources, and maintains clear communication with project managers, designers, and clients regarding timelines, issues, and updates. Daily responsibilities also involve implementing safety procedures, conducting site inspections, resolving on-site operational challenges, and maintaining accurate documentation such as work logs, measurements, and reports.



The role requires proactive problem-solving and consistent presence at the site to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within agreed parameters.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience supervising interior or construction sites, with strong skills in coordinating labor, subcontractors, and daily site activities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and interior drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications, with attention to quality and detail.
- Ability to manage project timelines, track progress, and report issues clearly to project managers and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of basic site safety standards, material handling practices, and compliance with local regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address on-site constraints, design clarifications, and workmanship issues.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining reports, photos, and documentation; familiarity with MS Office or similar tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in interior fit-out projects in Mumbai or similar urban environments is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering, interior design, construction management, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute formal education.
- Willingness to work on-site full time, with flexibility for extended hours based on project requirements.
