Major ResponsibilitiesStructural Inspection & Assessment:

- Conduct visual inspection of all structural steel components

- Identify defects due to overloading, design deficiencies, settlement, and thickness loss

- Assess extent of corrosion in steel structures

- Prepare detailed inspection reports and asset documentation

Reporting & Documentation:

- Create visual inspection reports

- Develop asset lists with dimensions and classification (load-bearing, non-load-bearing, etc.)

- Coordinate with NDT technicians to compile NDT reports and technical inferences

- Provide sketches for layout and distress mapping

- Recommend suitable repair/strengthening methodologies with detailed BOQ, specifications, and construction chemicals

Drawing Support:

- Assist drafting personnel with layout sketches where drawings are unavailable

- Support creation of distress mapping drawings highlighting defective areas

Qualification:

- M.Tech Civil with Minimum 10 years in NDT and design review

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years in NDT and design review
