Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role located in Odisha, India.

The Site

Engineer will oversee daily project execution at electrical and civil work sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, correctly, and in line with technical specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, contractors, and client representatives, supervising installation and construction activities, and monitoring progress against schedules. The role involves conducting site inspections, supporting testing and commissioning, maintaining documentation and reports, and resolving site-level technical issues.

Engineer will also help enforce safety protocols, support resource planning, and contribute to continuous improvement in site practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision and field execution skills, with the ability to manage work fronts and site resources effectively.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to ensure compliance with technical standards, safety norms, and project specifications.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering knowledge and be able to collaborate with civil engineers on foundation, support structures, and related works.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in power infrastructure, substation projects, underground cabling, or related construction works is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, safety regulations, and basic project management practices.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, prepare site reports, and use standard engineering tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to work at different project locations within Odisha.
