A. CIVIL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Site Execution

- Drawing & Layout: Read architectural, structural, drainage drawings. Set out grid lines, foundation levels, benchmarks on slopes.
- RCC/Structure: Supervise excavation, PCC, footing, column, beam, slab. Check shuttering, steel fixing, cover blocks, concrete mix & curing.
- Masonry & Finishing: Monitor brickwork, plaster, flooring, waterproofing. Especially terrace and toilet waterproofing due to heavy rain.
- Stormwater & Retaining Structures: Design critical for Shimla. Execute drains, culverts, toe walls, breast walls, slope protection to prevent landslides.

2. Quality, Safety & Planning

- Material QC: Check cement, steel, aggregate. Maintain test reports - cube, steel, slump.
- Safety on Hills: PPE, barricading on edges, safety nets, proper scaffolding. Toolbox talk daily. Extra caution during monsoon/fog.
- Planning: Daily work plan considering weather, material delivery issues. Update progress, manpower, and equipment log.
- Documentation: Site diary, measurement book, RFI, DPR, photo records.

B. ELECTRICAL WORK RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Execution & Coordination

- Cabling & Conduiting: Supervise laying of PVC/CGI conduits in slab, wall, floor before civil casting. Ensure no clash with structure.
- Panel & DB Installation: Check location, mounting height of LT panel, distribution boards, meter panels as per drawing.
- Wiring & Earthing: Monitor wiring, cable tray laying,



earthing pits, lightning arrestor on building/terrain.
- Lighting & Power: Install external street lights, site lighting, power for site office, lab, and machinery. Critical in foggy/low-visibility areas.
- MEP Coordination: Coordinate with civil team for sleeves, cutouts, shaft spaces, and with HVAC/plumbing teams to avoid clashes.

2. Testing & Compliance

- Testing: IR test, continuity test, earth resistance test. Maintain test reports.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure proper earthing, ELCB/RCCB, cable sizing as per IS code. No temporary/jugaad wiring on site.
- Materials: Check make, rating of cables, DBs, switches, panels as per BOQ and approved make.

C. COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES - CIVIL + ELECTRICAL

1. Site Coordination: Be single point of contact between civil, electrical, MEP contractors and PMC/Client.
2. Billing: Take joint measurements for civil + electrical items. Prepare RA bills and check subcontractor bills.
3. Inventory: Track cement, steel, cables, DBs, wires. Minimize damage/wastage due to weather.
4. GRIHA/Green Norms: If applicable - energy efficient lighting, waste management, debris disposal.
5. Client/Consultant Liaison: Attend site meetings, get drawings clarified, close observations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
