M/s. Patil Construction is a civil infrastructure contractor with extensive experience in government water infrastructure and civil construction projects , including canals, minor irrigation tanks, earthen dams and associated infrastructure.

We are currently expanding our project operations in Pune and are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to join our team for a major Pune Ring Road infrastructure project .

Role Overview The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, supervision and quality control of civil construction activities at site . The role requires strong practical knowledge of construction methodology, drawings, quantities, surveying, quality control and coordination with contractors, consultants and project management teams.

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of assigned site activities and ensure that work is executed safely, efficiently, as per approved drawings and specifications, and within the planned schedule .

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
- Execute works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and method statements .
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, surveyors and site teams.
- Monitor earthwork, excavation, embankment, drainage, road formation, concrete and associated civil works .




- Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate records of quantities and executed work.
- Interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues before execution.
- Coordinate with the surveying team for levels, alignment, coordinates and setting-out works .
- Monitor material consumption, manpower, machinery and other site resources.
- Ensure construction activities meet specified quality standards and tolerances .
- Prepare daily progress reports, measurement sheets and site documentation.
- Identify site constraints and resolve technical and execution issues in coordination with senior engineers and project management.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, environmental standards and approved construction procedures .
- Monitor progress against the project programme and highlight delays or potential risks.
- Coordinate with project management regarding work fronts, resources, productivity and construction priorities .

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Relevant experience in road, highway, infrastructure or large-scale civil construction projects preferred.
- Strong practical understanding of civil construction methods and site execution .




- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs and technical specifications .
- Knowledge of earthwork, road works, drainage and concrete works .
- Familiarity with surveying, levelling and site measurement procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel .
- Knowledge of construction planning, quantity measurement and progress monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced site environment.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in NHAI, MSRDC, PWD, PMRDA, highway, ring road, major road infrastructure or government infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Experience with earthwork, embankment, drainage, structures and road formation works will be an added advantage.
