About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Signal Processing Engineer to join our Defence Technology team, contributing to the design and development of mission-critical systems for esteemed customers, including the Indian Armed Forces. This is an chance to apply advanced signal processing expertise to real-world defence platforms that demand precision, reliability, and performance under stringent operational conditions.
The ideal candidate combines solid theoretical grounding in DSP with hands-on experience translating algorithms into deployable, real-time solutions.
Role Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for sensing and communication systems
Process and analyse signals from sensors, RF systems, GNSS, communication links, and other sensing platforms
Develop algorithms for filtering, noise reduction, detection, estimation, feature extraction, and signal classification
Optimize signal processing algorithms for real-time performance on embedded platforms
Develop and validate algorithms using MATLAB, Python, C, and C++
Conduct simulation, testing, performance benchmarking, and validation against real and simulated datasets
Integrate signal-processing algorithms with embedded hardware and software systems
Diagnose and resolve signal-quality and algorithm-performance issues across the system lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Technical Expertise
Strong foundation in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and signal analysis principles
Proficient understanding of sampling theory, FFT/DFT, filtering, convolution, correlation, modulation, and spectral analysis
Demonstrated experience with FIR/IIR filter design, adaptive filtering, noise reduction, detection, and estimation techniques
Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for algorithm development
Working knowledge of C/C++ for embedded implementation
Practical experience in real-time signal processing on embedded systems
Familiarity with data visualization and signal-analysis tools
* Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics &Communication; Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
2–4 years of relevant professional experience in signal processing or an allied engineering domain
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of wireless communication and RF signal processing
Hands-on experience with SDR, DSP processors, ARM/STM32, FPGA, or comparable embedded platforms
Exposure to AI/ML techniques applied to signal classification or detection.
Experience with GNSS/GPS/NavIC, RF, radar, communication, sonar, or sensor systems
