Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

Responsibilities include installing, commissioning, and servicing UPS systems, inverters, solar solutions, battery chargers, and servo stabilizers at customer locations. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing regular preventive maintenance, and executing repairs to ensure reliable equipment performance.

The Service

Engineer will provide technical support, document service activities, coordinate with the internal team,



and communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, resolutions, and recommendations. The position may require travel within the region for field service visits and support calls.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical and electronic equipment.
- Hands-on experience in field service, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support.
- Ability to provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair of UPS, inverters, solar systems, battery chargers, and servo stabilizers.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service reports, and collaborating with team members.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and best practices in electrical and field work.
- Willingness to travel for service calls and work flexible hours when required.
- Prior experience in power systems or industrial service environments is an advantage.
