Role Description This is a full time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Umargam.

The Service

Engineer will install, commission, and maintain extrusion blow moulding machines at customer locations and within the CMP facility. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, and ensuring machines operate safely and efficiently. The role involves preparing service reports, advising customers on proper machine operation,



and coordinating with the production and engineering teams to address recurring technical problems.

The Service

Engineer will also support training of customer staff on equipment use, follow company safety and quality standards, and may travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills related to industrial machinery and automation systems.
- Experience with installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing or process equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of safety practices in industrial environments and adherence to quality standards.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams, with clear service documentation.
- Capacity to work on-site in Umargam, with flexibility to travel to customer locations when needed.
- Prior experience in plastics machinery, extrusion, or blow moulding equipment is an advantage.
