About the Role

We're looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available environments across cloud and on-premises platforms. You'll own infrastructure spanning public cloud, virtualization, and directory services—automating provisioning, optimizing cost and performance, and ensuring reliability across hybrid systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Administer and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and Nutanix (AHV, Prism).
- Manage Active Directory: domain services, group policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and identity/access administration.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments.
- Monitor system health, set up alerting, and respond to incidents to meet uptime/SLA targets.
- Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Enforce security best practices: IAM,



network segmentation, encryption, and compliance.
- Optimize cloud and infrastructure spend through right-sizing, autoscaling, and capacity planning.
- Support hybrid connectivity between on-prem (VMware/Nutanix) and cloud environments.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience administering VMware (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi) and/or Nutanix (AHV/Prism).
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, VCP (VMware Certified Skilled), Nutanix NCP, CKA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure/Identity.
- Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), SAN/NAS storage, and backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault).
