About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist to join our child development centre. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience assessing and treating pediatric clients across a range of speech, language, hearing, and developmental disorders, and will play a senior role mentoring junior therapists and coordinating with the rehabilitation team.
Key Responsibilities
Speech-Language Pathology
- Conduct assessment and management of speech and language disorders in children, including mental retardation, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, apraxia of speech, autism, ADHD, articulation and phonological disorders
- Design and deliver individualised therapy plans using evidence-based techniques
- Counsel parents and caregivers on diagnosis, home training, and rehabilitation strategies
- Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
Audiology
- Perform audiological screening, diagnosis, and management, including PTA, Immittance Audiometry, and Speech Audiometry
- Conduct Hearing Aid Trials (HAT) and Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT)
- Administer special tests: Tone Decay, SISI, and Eustachian tube dysfunction assessment
- Counsel clients and families on hearing loss, hearing aid use/maintenance, and auditory training
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP) from a recognised institute
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience in a child development centre or pediatric rehabilitation setting
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric caseloads
- RCI registration
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a senior/lead therapist role
- Participation in relevant conferences, workshops, or certificate courses related to pediatric speech and hearing
- Multilingual proficiency (English, Telugu, Hindi)
