About The Role

We are seeking a Kubernetes Platform Technical Lead with 8–12 years of relevant experience to build and manage container platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) on Google Cloud. The role combines hands-on cloud platform engineering with technical leadership, focusing on Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud service mesh, CI/CD, security, and observability.

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Kubernetes platforms on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). You will manage GKE clusters and fleets, service mesh implementations, platform add-ons, security tooling, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.

As a technical lead, you will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to refine requirements, deliver platform enhancements, and address maintenance requests. You will also lead a team of Kubernetes developers, review code, provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and ensure delivery quality and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage GKE-based container platforms on GCP using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage GKE fleets, platform add-ons, Cloud Service Mesh, security tools, instrumentation, and observability solutions.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Apply Kubernetes security best practices and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop monitoring and logging solutions and respond to platform incidents with appropriate improvements.
- Lead sprint planning,



retrospectives, user-story refinement, and infrastructure enhancement activities.
- Lead and mentor Kubernetes platform developers, review code changes, and provide technical guidance.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and support team performance, development, and delivery objectives.
