Qualification

- MD/MS/DNB in the respective specialty from an NMC-recognized medical institution.
- Candidates must possess valid medical registration with the applicable State Medical Council/NMC.
- Candidates with relevant teaching and academic experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic and clinical/laboratory support as applicable to the department.
- Conduct undergraduate teaching, demonstrations, practicals and tutorials.
- Assist faculty members in lectures, practical sessions and departmental academic activities.
- Participate in seminars, journal clubs, case discussions and other academic programs.
- Assist in preparation and evaluation of practical examinations and assessments.
- Maintain departmental records, registers and academic documentation.
- Participate in research activities, publications and institutional academic programs.
- Follow institutional policies, NMC guidelines and departmental protocols.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department/Dean.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

Anatomy

- Conduct gross anatomy, histology, embryology and related practical teaching.
- Assist in dissection hall activities and demonstrations.
- Guide undergraduate students during practical sessions.




- Maintain proper records related to specimens, models and departmental resources.

Microbiology

- Assist in microbiology practical teaching and demonstrations.
- Support laboratory activities including specimen processing, culture and identification as per institutional protocols.
- Maintain laboratory records and ensure compliance with infection-control and biosafety practices.
- Participate in teaching related to bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology and immunology.

Biochemistry

- Assist in undergraduate practical teaching and demonstrations.
- Support laboratory investigations and quality-control activities as per departmental protocols.
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
- Participate in teaching related to clinical biochemistry, metabolism, molecular biology and related subjects.
