Detailed role description:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our technology team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI-powered products.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced product environment and have a strong engineering mindset, with the ability to design scalable automated testing frameworks rather than relying primarily on manual testing.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to identify quality risks, build automated test coverage, and ensure our AI platforms perform consistently, accurately, and reliably.

Test Automation

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web, API, backend, and AI-based applications.
- Develop automated functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test suites.




- Identify manual test cases that can be automated and continuously improve automation coverage.
- Build reusable test components and frameworks that can scale across multiple products and platforms.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

AI Platform Testing

- Develop testing approaches for AI features, including model outputs, recommendations, classifications, predictions, and generated responses.
- Validate accuracy, consistency, reliability, and robustness of AI outputs.
- Test AI systems against expected outcomes, edge cases, unusual inputs, and failure scenarios.
- Design test datasets and scenarios to identify model/data quality issues.
- Validate model behaviour across different inputs, versions, and releases.
- Work with Data Science/AI teams to establish appropriate quality benchmarks and acceptance criteria.

API & Backend Testing

- Develop automated tests for REST APIs and backend services.
- Validate API responses, business logic, error handling, authentication, data integrity, and performance.
- Perform database validation and backend data testing.
- Test integrations between AI models, data pipelines, APIs, and downstream applications.

Quality Engineering

- Participate in requirement and design reviews to identify potential quality risks early.
- Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and automated test suites.
- Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis,



and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Establish and track QA metrics such as automation coverage, defect leakage, test pass rates, and regression coverage.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and engineering practices.

Desired skills:

- 4–6 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing, preferably in product or technology companies.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation using one or more of:
- Python
- C#
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in API automation/testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Requests, or equivalent.
- Robust SQL skills and experience with database validation.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation code.
