We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Senior QA Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of our data-driven projects, with a specific focus on ELT pipelines (Snowflake, DBT) and modern automation. The ideal candidate is someone who balances traditional QA rigor with a passion for AI-driven testing and efficient data validation.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Test Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts tailored for data-heavy environments
- Data Pipeline Validation: Execute functional, regression, and performance testing specifically for ELT pipelines to ensure data accuracy and flow
- Defect Management: Log, track, and manage software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication with the development team
- End-to-End Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of ELT processes using creative, efficient approaches to validate data from source to destination
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and define robust acceptance criteria
- Innovation: Continuously enhance QA practices by exploring and integrating emerging AI-driven solutions and tools

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES





- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in software quality assurance
- Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tools
- Data Platforms: Practical experience working with Snowflake and DBT
- AI Integration: Exposure to AI-assisted code generation or AI-powered testing automation and agentic workflows
- QA Fundamentals: A strong, foundational understanding of QA methodologies, life cycles, and best practices
- Soft Skills: Sharp analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Terraform testing, Code scanning, and Security Testing practices and AWS Services
- Exposure to Disaster Recovery scenarios, failover testing, and infrastructure resilience validation

PREFERRED SKILLS

- DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the deployment workflow
- Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
- Agile Mindset: Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks
