Job Summary

Tech T7 Innovations is looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python backend development, REST APIs, databases, asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and scalable system design .

Candidates with experience in the Insurance domain will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python .
- Build and maintain robust REST APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and high-performance Python code.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL , including query optimization and database design.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, pagination, API versioning, and error handling.
- Develop asynchronous and concurrent applications using asyncio, async/await, threading, and multiprocessing where appropriate.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Design scalable backend services using microservices, Redis, message queues, caching, and fault-tolerant architectures .
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and API tests using pytest and mocking frameworks .
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA,



and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Technical SkillsPython
- Strong hands-on experience with Python .
- Excellent understanding of OOP, decorators, generators, iterators, exception handling, and memory management .
- Good understanding of the Python GIL and concurrency models .

Backend Frameworks & APIs
- Strong experience with at least one of FastAPI, Django, or Flask .
- Strong understanding of REST API development and architecture .
- Experience with authentication, authorization, validation, pagination, versioning, and error handling.

Database
- Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL .
- Good understanding of joins, indexes, transactions, constraints, and query optimization.
- Experience troubleshooting database performance issues.

Async & Performance
- Hands-on experience with asyncio, async/await .
- Understanding of threading and multiprocessing .
- Experience with caching and backend performance optimization.

System Design
- Experience designing scalable and distributed backend services .
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, Redis, message queues, load balancing, fault tolerance, and scalability .

Testing
- Robust experience with pytest .
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, API testing, and mocking.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in the Insurance domain .
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP .
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.
