Refroid

Technologies is at a growing stage and current plant is in IDA Jeedimetla however we are looking for a larger production plant in an around of Hyderabad. We already have order in hand to deliver for this financial year in the tune of INR 120 CR.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Professional to support the Procurement Manager in managing end-to-end procurement activities for manufacturing and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

- Execute procurement activities based on approved Purchase Requisitions, BOMs and production requirements.
- Source raw materials, bought-out components, fabricated parts and consumables.
- Float RFQs/RFPs and obtain competitive quotations from approved and prospective suppliers.
- Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements and recommend suitable suppliers.
- Convert approved requirements into Purchase Orders and ensure timely order placement.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered as per committed schedules.

Vendor Development & Management

- Identify and develop new suppliers for critical components and manufacturing requirements.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity and technical capability.
- Conduct vendor visits and support supplier audits/assessments where required.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate recurring quality or delivery issues to the Procurement Manager.
- Support vendor qualification and onboarding processes.

Technical & Commercial Procurement

- Understand engineering drawings, BOMs,



specifications and material requirements.
- Evaluate supplier quotations from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, lead time, freight, warranty and other commercial conditions.
- Conduct price benchmarking and market analysis.
- Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.

HVAC / Cooling Components Procurement Exposure to procurement of some of the following will be highly desirable:

- Sheet metal and fabricated components
- Copper tubes and copper components
- Heat exchangers / coils
- Pumps and valves
- Compressors
- Motors and fans
- Electrical panels and electrical components
- Sensors, controls and instrumentation
- Piping and fittings
- Insulation and thermal materials
- Fasteners and hardware
- Machined components
- Bought-out mechanical components

Production & Material Availability

- Coordinate closely with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality and Engineering teams.
- Track critical material requirements and supplier commitments.
- Proactively identify material shortages and take corrective action.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production and project execution.
- Expedite critical and delayed purchase orders.
- Support inventory optimization and reduction of excess/slow-moving materials.

ERP / Procurement MIS

- Create and maintain Purchase Orders and procurement records in ERP/SAP.
- Maintain supplier master data, pricing and purchase-related documentation.
- Prepare procurement MIS covering:
- PO status
- Pending orders
- Supplier delivery performance
- Cost savings
- Purchase spend
- Material shortages
- Vendor performance
- Support procurement audits and documentation.

Cost Optimization

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through:
- Supplier negotiation
- Alternate sourcing
- Localization
- Supplier development
- Volume consolidation
- Value engineering




- Price benchmarking
- Support the Procurement Manager in achieving annual procurement savings targets.

Candidate Profile

Education

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or related discipline.
- Engineering qualification will be preferred.

Experience

- 3–7 years of experience in Procurement / Purchase / Strategic Sourcing.
- Strong preference for candidates from:
- HVAC / RAC
- Refrigeration
- Cooling systems
- Engineering manufacturing
- Data-center equipment
- Industrial machinery
- Sheet metal / fabrication
- Heat exchangers
- Electrical / automation equipment
- Candidates with direct procurement experience in HVAC/manufacturing environments are particularly relevant because comparable HVAC procurement roles emphasize direct-material sourcing, vendor development, techno-commercial evaluation, SAP/ERP, and supplier delivery management.
