Role Tittle: Senior Manager, .NET Engineering

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Team Manager to build, lead, and grow our Neo development team in India.

This role goes far beyond traditional people management. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an environment where developers can successfully master a highly complex business platform, collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects and Project Mangers, and remain engaged long enough to become true domain experts.

You will serve as a leader, mentor, coach, and advocate for the team while helping bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & People Development:

- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Neo engineering team in India.
- Create a culture of openness, collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members during their Neo learning journey.
- Help developers understand complex business processes and technical concepts.
- Actively promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams and locations.
- Foster employee engagement and create an environment that encourages long-term retention.

Capability Building:





- Recognize that becoming highly productive in Neo typically requires six months or more.
- Develop learning plans, coaching approaches, and mentoring structures that accelerate team development.
- Ensure critical system knowledge is retained and continuously expanded.
- Build a team capable of understanding not only technical requirements but also the underlying business challenges.
- Help developers understand the business context behind requirements.
- Encourage engineers to challenge assumptions and actively contribute to solution design.
- Balance short-term delivery commitments with long-term platform goals.

Team Advocacy:

- Act as a strong advocate for the team within the wider organization.
- Remove blockers and create conditions that enable developers to succeed.
- Ensure the team has the support, visibility, and resources needed to deliver effectively.
- Represent team concerns, risks, and opportunities in leadership discussions.

Delivery & Operational Excellence:

- Promote quality engineering practices and sustainable delivery.
- Support planning, prioritization, and execution activities.
- Drive accountability while maintaining a positive and supportive leadership style.
- Encourage continuous improvement across processes, tooling, and collaboration models.

Qualifications:

Leadership Experience:

- Proven experience leading software development teams in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent.
- Experience building and growing teams through periods of rapid expansion.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Clear, concise, and professional communication style.
- Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
