Overview of the Role
We are looking for a seasoned, strategic, and data-driven Senior Manager – Compensation &
Perks (C&B;) to lead, design, and execute total rewards strategies for our North America (US & Canada) geography. Operating out of our Gurgaon office, you will be the subject matter expert driving competitive benchmarking, policy alignment, and compliance for our IT Services business. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in North American market dynamics, a strong understanding of offshore/onshore IT talent models, and the ability to translate complex data into scalable rewards programs that attract and retain top-tier tech talent.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Design & Market Benchmarking Design, implement, and manage competitive total rewards programs (Fixed Pay, Variable Pay, Incentives, and Benefits) specifically tailored for the North American IT Services workforce. Lead annual and ad-hoc market benchmarking exercises using premium surveys (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Willis Towers Watson) to ensure competitive positioning in a highly volatile tech talent market. Define and align salary structures, pay ranges, and geo-differentials across various zones in the US and Canada.
- Benefits Management & Localization Oversee the design and administration of comprehensive benefits programs in North America, including health & wellness plans, 401(k) / RRSP retirement plans, life insurance, and perquisites. Partner with local brokers and vendors in the US/Canada to review plan utilization, negotiate renewals, and ensure cost-effective, high-impact benefits design. 3.
Execution & Annual Cycles Drive the end-to-end annual compensation review cycle for the NA region, including merit increases, promotion adjustments, and bonus allocations. Collaborate closely with delivery heads, account managers, and HR business partners to provide data-backed insights on compensation for offshore/onshore project assignments. Structure attractive and compliant compensation packages for lateral hires, executive movements, and international transfers/on-site deputations.
- Compliance & Governance Ensure absolute compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits in NA (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA, Canadian provincial employment standards). Maintain robust governance frameworks over incentive payouts, equity plans (if applicable), and fair pay practices.
- Data Analytics & Stakeholder Management Leverage advanced data analytics to assess the ROI of existing total rewards programs and forecast compensation budgets. Serve as the trusted advisor to business leaders, presenting clear, concise C&B; metrics and market intelligence to drive talent retention and business decisions.
Required Experience & Qualifications Education:
MBA in HR, master’s degree in human resources, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institute.
Experience Range: 12–17 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant portion dedicated exclusively to North American C&B; management within an IT Services organization.
Market Expertise: Proven track record of managing compensation architecture for complex IT delivery structures (such as billable/non-billable roles, technical architects, sales incentives, and onshore-offshore cross-border compensation).
Technical & Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical ability with advanced Excel skills (modeling, regression, pivot tables) and experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
