– Legal Executive / Legal Counsel

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Legal professional with strong exposure to both Litigation and Corporate/General Legal matters. The ideal candidate should independently handle legal documentation, contracts, disputes, litigation matters, and coordination with external legal counsel. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, defence, technology, or similar industries will be preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation & Dispute Management· Handle and monitor civil, commercial, labour, consumer, and other litigation matters.

· Coordinate with external advocates and legal consultants.

· Prepare case briefs, legal notices, replies, petitions, and other legal documents.

· Track court cases, hearings, deadlines, and legal proceedings.

· Maintain a litigation tracker and provide regular updates to management.

· Support dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation, and settlement matters.

Corporate & General Legal· Draft, review, negotiate, and manage agreements, contracts, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, employment agreements, and commercial documents.

· Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal departments.

· Identify legal risks in business transactions and recommend mitigation.

· Review business proposals and documentation from a legal and compliance perspective.

Contract Management· Review and negotiate customer, vendor, supplier, consultant, and partnership agreements.

· Ensure appropriate indemnity, liability, confidentiality, termination, dispute resolution, and jurisdiction provisions.

· Maintain a contract repository and renewal tracker.

· Coordinate with business teams for timely execution of agreements.

Legal Compliance· Monitor applicable laws and regulatory requirements relevant to company operations.





· Support statutory and regulatory compliance activities.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders during audits and legal reviews.

· Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.

Legal Documentation & Reporting· Maintain litigation, contracts, notices, agreements, and other legal records.

· Prepare periodic legal status reports for management.

· Ensure proper documentation and timely closure of legal matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications· LLB / LLM from a recognised institution.

· 4+ years of relevant legal experience.

· Robust hands-on experience in both Litigation and Corporate/Commercial Legal matters.

· Good knowledge of contract drafting and negotiation.

· Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

· Experience coordinating with advocates, courts, consultants, and government authorities.

· Ability to independently manage multiple legal matters and deadlines.

· Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Preferred Profile· Experience in Manufacturing / Aerospace / Defence / Drone / Engineering / Technology industries.

· Exposure to commercial contracts and business disputes.

· Experience handling litigation independently or with external counsel.

· Strong stakeholder-management skills.

· Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.

· Prior experience working as an In-House Legal Counsel / Corporate Legal Counsel will be preferred.
