Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for business-critical applications.
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable software solutions.
- Design and implement scalable database solutions using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.




- Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Ensure applications follow appropriate security, data protection, and coding standards, particularly in a fintech environment.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Strong experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- Good understanding of database design, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Strong understanding of unit testing using JUnit/Mockito.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Good understanding of application security and secure coding practices.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.





Good to Have:

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Kafka or other message-broker technologies.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Exposure to FinTech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Services.
- Understanding of security/compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, or DORA.
- Experience working with high-volume transaction processing systems.
