Senior IELTS / PTE Faculty - Academic Head

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IELTS / PTE Faculty who can take ownership of our academic operations and act as the Head of Faculty for the branch.

This role is ideal for someone who has strong expertise in IELTS/PTE training and has also handled faculty management, academic planning, student performance, batch operations, and day-to-day branch-level academic responsibilities.

We are open to candidates from diverse qualified backgrounds, but we are specifically looking for someone with strong leadership ability, practical teaching experience, and the maturity to take ownership of the complete academic function.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Teaching

- Conduct high-quality IELTS and/or PTE training for students across different proficiency levels.
- Plan and deliver structured lessons covering Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
- Develop and implement practice materials, mock tests, assessments, and improvement plans.
- Analyse student performance and provide individual feedback and guidance.
- Maintain consistent teaching quality and academic standards across batches.

Faculty Leadership

- Act as the academic head/lead faculty for the branch.
- Manage, guide, and coordinate other IELTS/PTE faculty members.
- Allocate batches, schedules, and academic responsibilities among faculty.
- Conduct regular faculty reviews and identify areas for improvement.




- Support junior faculty members with teaching strategies, lesson planning, and student handling.
- Ensure consistency in teaching methodology and course delivery.

Branch Academic Operations

- Take ownership of day-to-day academic operations related to IELTS/PTE.
- Plan batch schedules, class structures, mock tests, assessments, and academic activities.
- Monitor attendance, student progress, faculty performance, and batch outcomes.
- Coordinate with the counselling and operations teams to ensure smooth student progression.
- Handle academic escalations and resolve student or faculty-related concerns.
- Maintain academic reports and performance records as required.

Student Performance & Results

- Track student progress and identify students requiring additional support.
- Develop personalised improvement strategies for students who are struggling.
- Conduct regular assessments and mock tests.
- Focus on improving overall student outcomes and IELTS/PTE scores.
- Maintain a strong student experience throughout the training journey.

Requirements

- 3+ years of relevant experience in IELTS and/or PTE training.
- Strong command of English with excellent communication and presentation skills.




- Proven experience handling batches independently.
- Prior experience managing or coordinating faculty/team members will be strongly preferred.
- Experience handling academic operations or branch-level responsibilities will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of IELTS/PTE exam patterns, assessment criteria, and preparation strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple batches and academic responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and student-handling skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and take ownership of the branch's academic function.
