Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Industrial Designer who can take products from early-stage concepts to production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate should combine strong industrial design skills with engineering understanding, user-centric design thinking, ergonomics, and manufacturing knowledge.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating innovative consumer electronics, hearing technology, wearable, and assistive products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead industrial design projects from concept generation to final production.
- Develop innovative product concepts considering aesthetics, ergonomics, functionality, technology, and manufacturability.
- Create sketches, concepts, 3D models, high-quality renders, animations, and design presentations.
- Develop 3D CAD models and surfaces for consumer electronics, hearing devices, and wearable products.
- Work closely with Mechanical, Electronics, Acoustic, R&D;, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams.
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis, market research, and design benchmarking.
- Develop CMF (Color, Material & Finish) strategies and maintain consistency across product families.
- Develop prototypes using 3D printing, CNC, molding, and other rapid prototyping methods.
- Evaluate prototypes for ergonomics, usability, aesthetics, assembly, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to convert design concepts into mass-production products.
- Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and resolve design issues during product development and production.
- Prepare design specifications, presentations, BOMs, technical documentation,



and manufacturing references.
- Guide and review the work of junior designers.
- Maintain consistency in WeHear's overall product design language.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Industrial/Product Design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product development is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of industrial and product design principles.
- Excellent sketching and concept development skills.
- Strong 3D CAD skills in SOLIDWORKS, PTC Creo, Fusion 360, or similar software.
- Strong rendering and visualization skills using KeyShot, Blender, V-Ray, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of ergonomics, human factors, proportions, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of plastic product design and injection molding.
- Understanding of DFM, DFA, tolerances, assembly, and prototyping processes.
- Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches, renders, prototypes, and presentations.
