We are looking for an experienced Logistics and Operations professional to join our Mumbai team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing Nivodas India fulfilment operations, overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that our inventory of diamonds and gemstones is handled with the highest standards of accuracy, security, efficiency, and care.

What You’ll Do

Logistics & Fulfilment

- Manage inbound and outbound shipments to and from India, including documentation, carrier coordination, tracking, and exception handling.
- Coordinate with suppliers across Mumbai and Surat to ensure timely collections and drop-offs.
- Own end-to-end fulfilment for Nivoda Express, managing the complete order lifecycle from quality control (QC) through final dispatch and returns.
- Handle returns, damaged goods, and shipment exceptions with accuracy, proper documentation, and timely resolution.
- Coordinate with logistics and carrier partners to ensure shipments are delivered securely and within agreed timelines.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Take complete ownership of Nivoda’s physical stock of diamonds and gemstones.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciliations, and physical stock checks.
- Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of all stock movements.
- Maintain the highest standards of security, accuracy, and accountability when handling high-value assets.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

Reporting & Data Analysis

- Generate monthly and quarterly operational reports covering shipment volumes, collection performance,



delivery metrics, and carrier KPIs.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and structured operational records and dashboards.

Process & Continuous Improvement

- Own the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the fulfilment function.
- Ensure processes are clearly documented, regularly updated, and consistently followed.
- Contribute to Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and help translate operational requirements into effective processes and systems.
- Identify operational gaps and lead process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the fulfilment team.

Basic Qualifications

- 3-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, fulfilment, or operations.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to create clear, structured, and actionable reports.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other commonly used functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and careful handling of valuable items.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the diamond, gemstone, or jewellery industry.
- Familiarity with customs regulations, import/export documentation, and duty compliance.
- Experience creating and maintaining SOPs and BRDs in a cross-functional setting.
- Exposure to BI and reporting tools such as ThoughtSpot, Trevor, or similar platforms.
- Prior experience managing carrier relationships with providers such as FedEx, Brinks, or similar logistics partners.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude to support reporting, documentation, analysis, and process improvement workflows.
