Role Description The Senior Executive – Regulatory Affairs (Food) is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for managing regulatory activities related to food products, including interpreting and applying relevant regulations, preparing and submitting documentation to authorities, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing dossiers for product approvals and registrations, reviewing labels and product claims for compliance, coordinating with internal teams and clients to gather required technical information, and tracking the status of regulatory submissions.

Executive will also liaise with regulatory bodies as needed, maintain organized records, support audits and inspections, and provide guidance to clients on compliance strategies and timelines.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Regulatory Affairs and a strong understanding of food sector Regulatory Requirements.
- Proficiency in Regulatory Documentation and Dossier Preparation for product approvals, licenses, and registrations.
- Hands-on experience ensuring Regulatory Compliance with local and national food laws, standards, and guidelines.
- Knowledge of Indian food regulations (e.g., FSSAI) and familiarity with related regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to interpret technical and legal documents accurately.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with clients, internal teams, and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain thorough documentation in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a regulatory affairs role within the food industry or a consulting environment is highly desirable.
