Job Position : Senior Executive - Back Office

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

About the Role

Prabin Agarwal — Empowering Investors, an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor based in Siliguri, is looking for an experienced personnel to manage and grow relationships with existing investors and clients.

The role focuses on client relationship management, investor servicing, mutual fund distribution, SIP servicing, client retention, investment products, business development and relationship-based sales.

Candidates with experience in banking, financial services, mutual funds, insurance, NBFCs, wealth management, retail banking or customer relationship management are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage an assigned portfolio of existing clients and investors.

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular calls, meetings, WhatsApp and office interactions.

· Act as the primary contact for client servicing and investor relationship management.

· Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.

· Explain mutual fund products, investment products, SIPs, transactions, KYC, documentation and digital platforms in simple language.

· Conduct regular follow-ups regarding SIP investments, additional investments, transactions and investor service requirements.

· Focus on client retention and long-term relationship management.

· Identify opportunities for SIP increases, additional investments and cross-selling of relevant investment products.

· Generate and follow up on client referrals.





· Build relationships with newly onboarded investors.

· Conduct regular client meetings and relationship reviews.

· Coordinate with operations, back-office and senior relationship management teams.

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, follow-ups and pending requirements.

· Track assigned business development and relationship management KPIs.

· Ensure timely closure of client queries and service requirements.

· Maintain complete confidentiality of client and investor information.

· Follow internal processes and applicable regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

· Graduate in any discipline.

· 1–5 years of experience in Relationship Management, Banking, Financial Services, Mutual Funds, Insurance, NBFC, Wealth Management, Retail Banking or Client Servicing.

· Candidates currently working as Relationship Managers, Relationship Officers, Personal Bankers, Client Relationship Managers, Banking professionals are encouraged to apply.

· Experience managing an existing customer/client portfolio will be preferred.

· Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

· Valuable command of Hindi and English.

· Knowledge of Bengali will be an advantage.





· Comfortable interacting with customers/investors from different age groups.

· Strong follow-up and client servicing skills.

· Comfortable working with business and relationship management targets.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Email, CRM and digital platforms.

· Willingness to learn about mutual funds, SIPs and investment products.

· Strong ownership and ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We especially welcome candidates who have:

· Worked in Banking, NBFC, Mutual Funds, Insurance or Financial Services.

· Managed an existing customer/client portfolio.

· Experience in Relationship Management and Client Servicing.

· Experience with customer retention, cross-selling, referrals or business development.

· Regularly interacted with customers through calls and face-to-face meetings.

· Strong knowledge of customer relationship management.

· A disciplined approach to follow-ups and client servicing.

· Interest in building a long-term career in Banking, Financial Services and Mutual Fund Distribution.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Saturday: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Lunch Break: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Work Location: Siliguri, West Bengal

Work Mode: In-office
