NCompas Technology Solutions is looking for a strategic and technically strong Senior Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the architecture, modernization, and governance of enterprise technology solutions for our products and client engagements.

This is a leadership role for an architect who can bridge business strategy with application, cloud, data, integration, security, and delivery architecture. You will define target-state architecture, establish engineering standards, mentor teams, and ensure our solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, observable, and built for long-term growth.

What You’ll Do

- Define current-state, transition-state, and target-state architecture across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data, integrations, and shared technology services.
- Lead application modernization, cloud adoption, enterprise integration, and API-first architecture initiatives.
- Establish reusable architecture patterns, technical standards, design-review processes, and technology roadmaps across multiple teams.
- Guide scalable web application design, including React/Next.js ecosystems, Python/.NET services, API contracts, distributed systems, microservices or modular-monolith patterns, and event-driven architecture.
- Architect secure, cloud-native solutions using Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, including containers, Kubernetes where appropriate, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated delivery practices.
- Embed security-by-design, OWASP-aligned practices, identity and access management, secrets management, dependency security, and secure SDLC standards into solution delivery.
- Define standards for quality, performance, reliability, scalability, observability, logging, metrics, distributed tracing, monitoring, alerting, and production readiness.
- Lead and mentor architects, engineers, and technical leads; proactively resolve cross-team architecture risks, technical debt, duplication, and delivery issues.
- Partner with product, engineering, delivery, security, data, and customer teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.





AI-Assisted Engineering and Agentic AI

- Lead responsible adoption of AI coding agents such as Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar tools.
- Establish standards for secure and effective AI-assisted engineering, including prompt and context practices, source-code and customer-data protection, code review, testing, validation, dependency checks, and intellectual-property safeguards.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate solution design, code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and technical analysis—while ensuring human accountability for engineering quality.
- Design and guide production-ready agentic AI workflows, including LLM integration, tool calling, APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration, memory/context management, structured outputs, guardrails, human approvals, evaluation, monitoring, and cost controls.
- Define security, governance, observability, traceability, and reliability standards for AI agents and generative AI applications.

What We’re Looking For

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
- 3+ years in a senior architecture or technical leadership role, such as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Principal Engineer, Lead Architect, or equivalent.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale systems across applications, integrations, cloud services, data platforms, and security domains.
- Strong knowledge of modern web application architecture, including React/Next.js, TypeScript, Python and/or .NET, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Day-to-day front-end development is not required; however, you must be able to guide teams on sound application architecture, design, development, deployment,



and operational practices.
- Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of microservices, modular-monolith architecture, API-first design, event-driven systems, DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, and automated testing.
- Proven expertise in cloud and application security, secure SDLC, OWASP practices, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and software dependency security.
- Experience with observability practices including logging, monitoring, metrics, dashboards, alerts, tracing, and production support.
- Proficiency using AI coding agents in professional engineering workflows and the ability to establish safe adoption standards across teams.
- Knowledge of agentic AI development, including LLMs, tool integration, RAG, workflow orchestration, evaluation, security, and governance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

- Enterprise architecture practices such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, capability mapping, domain-driven design, or application portfolio management.
- Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, App Service, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure DevOps, Application Insights, or Azure Monitor.
- Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Bicep, Helm, Pulumi, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or related platforms.
- Experience building production-grade AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, or similar technologies.
- Experience in consulting, enterprise SaaS, qualified services, or customer-facing technology delivery.
