Role Description The Senior Distributed Systems Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kalyan Dombivli. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable distributed systems that support high-growth eCommerce platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting system components, optimizing performance, diagnosing complex production issues, and improving system reliability and resilience.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, implement best practices for monitoring and observability, and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines. The role also includes mentoring team members,



contributing to technical standards, and providing guidance on infrastructure and systems design decisions.

Qualifications

- Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to architect scalable, fault-tolerant distributed solutions.
- Hands-on experience with System Administration and Technical Support for complex, high-availability environments.
- Advanced Troubleshooting capabilities for diagnosing and resolving performance, reliability, and integration issues.
- Proficiency with distributed systems concepts (e.g., microservices, message queues, consensus, caching, load balancing).
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (for example, Docker and Kubernetes).
- Solid programming skills in languages commonly used for systems engineering (such as RUST, Go, Java, or Python).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing), and security best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and mentor peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
