Job Purpose To lead the creative and technical development of fashion products for global and High brand buyers, bringing strong design sensibility, fashion awareness and technical expertise to create innovative, commercially viable and production-friendly garments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop original and commercially relevant designs with a strong personal design aesthetic and creative point of view.

Keep strong awareness of global fashion trends, high-end fashion, silhouettes, fabrics, colours, details and emerging techniques.

Convert ideas and concepts into creative sketches, design concepts and commercially executable garments.

Lead complete product development from concept, sketch and sampling to final approval.

Possess solid technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern, fit, stitching, and finishing and specialised garment techniques.

Work closely with the Buyers/ Buying house, Sample, Pattern, Merchandising, Production and IE teams to make designs technically feasible, cost-effective and production-friendly.

Understand ERP and IE inputs to develop garments with better construction, efficiency and cost without compromising the design intent.

Identify technical roadblocks during sample development and provide practical solutions to achieve the desired design.

Guide and develop Assistant Designers,



ensuring quality, creativity and timely execution.

Use AI, CAD and other digital/technical design tools to accelerate research, ideation, sketching, presentations and product development.

Continuously explore new garment techniques, construction methods, fabrics, finishes and value additions.

Work on buyer requirements while maintaining a strong fashion-forward design perspective.

Candidate Profile

Strong fashion sense, creativity and visual imagination with the ability to create original design concepts.

Deep understanding of high-end and global fashion trends.

Strong sketching and ability to communicate design ideas visually.

Excellent technical understanding of garment construction and sampling.

Comfortable using AI and modern design/technical tools for faster execution.

Understanding of ERP, IE, costing and production processes to balance creativity with commercial and manufacturing feasibility.

Strong problem-solving ability to transparent technical roadblocks independently.

Should be confident, team-oriented and capable of leading Assistant Designers and interacting with Buyers during their Visits.

Preference for candidates from reputed garment export houses, fashion brands or organisations working with global buyers.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
