Role Description The Senior Data Scientist is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading end-to-end data science initiatives that support client and internal projects. In this role, the individual will explore and prepare data, design and validate statistical and machine learning models, and translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, building and evaluating predictive and prescriptive models,



and developing dashboards and visualizations to communicate results.

Scientist will mentor junior team members, contribute to best practices and standards, and help shape data strategy and innovation within the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Data Science and Data Analytics, with experience applying advanced analytical techniques to solve real-world business problems.
- Proficiency in Statistics and Data Analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression, and experimental design.
- Hands-on expertise in Data Visualization, using modern tools and libraries to create clear, insightful dashboards and visual narratives.
- Practical experience with machine learning and AI frameworks, and programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and model deployment.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in one or more relevant domains (e.g., BFSI, healthcare, telecom, energy, or infrastructure) is an advantage.
