Role Description The Senior Cost Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for leading cost planning, estimation, and budget management across complex property, construction, and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed cost plans and bills of quantities, managing tender processes, evaluating bids, and providing accurate cost advice throughout design development and project delivery.

Manager will monitor project costs, track variations, prepare financial reports, and support risk and value management activities to ensure projects remain within approved budgets. The role also involves coordinating with clients, designers, contractors, and internal teams, mentoring junior staff,



and contributing to continuous improvement of cost management practices and tools.

? Qualifications

- Strong expertise in cost planning, estimation, and quantity surveying for property, construction, and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in tendering, bid evaluation, contract administration, and change/variation management.
- Ability to develop and interpret bills of quantities, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and lifecycle cost analyses.
- Advanced skills in project financial management, risk and value management, and budget control.
- Experience using industry-standard cost management and quantity surveying software, as well as MS Excel and related tools.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including client-facing experience and report writing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, manage multiple assignments, and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional memberships or progress toward chartered status (e.g., RICS or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Relevant experience in consultancy environments and exposure to international best practices in cost management will be an advantage.
