Role Description The Senior Corporate Relations and Placement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at ITM University in Gwalior. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with corporate organizations to enhance campus placement opportunities across disciplines. The officer will plan and execute placement drives, internships, and industry engagement initiatives, including pre-placement talks, campus visits, and recruitment events.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with academic departments, preparing students for interviews through training and workshops, providing career counseling, and tracking placement outcomes and employer feedback.



The role also includes identifying emerging industry trends, expanding the employer network, and representing the University at external events to strengthen its corporate presence.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in campus placement and corporate relations, including organizing recruitment drives and building employer networks.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students, faculty, and corporate partners, and for conducting presentations and meetings.
- Background in career counseling and student guidance, with the ability to advise learners on career paths, job readiness, and professional development.
- Experience in training and education-related activities, such as employability workshops, soft skills programs, and interview preparation sessions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; prior experience in higher education or placement cells is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary academic teams, manage multiple initiatives, and meet placement and corporate engagement targets.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining placement records, reports, and employer databases.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, recruitment practices, and regional/national job markets; willingness to travel for corporate meetings and events when required.
