Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Act as a trusted legal advisor by providing practical, risk-based guidance that supports business objectives while protecting the firm's interests.

- Apply sound legal judgment to identify, assess and mitigate legal, regulatory and compliance risks across business operations.

- Safeguard the firm's contractual and commercial interests through effective interpretation, evaluation and negotiation of legal obligations.

- Monitor developments in UAE laws, regulations and regulatory expectations, and evaluate their implications for the business.

- Contribute to strengthening governance, compliance and risk management frameworks through a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

- Promote ethical decision-making and regulatory adherence while balancing commercial and operational considerations.

- Build effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, external advisors and regulatory bodies to support informed decision-making.

- Support the development and continuous enhancement of policies, standards and guidance that foster a strong compliance culture.

- Contribute to the firm's preparedness for emerging legal, regulatory, data privacy and AML-related risks through ongoing analysis and insight.

- Champion consistency, transparency and accountability in legal and compliance practices across the organization.

Qualifications & Education:

- Bachelors degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.

- Qualified Advocate or equivalent legal skilled qualification preferred.

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant legal experience.

- Experience in corporate legal advisory, contract management, compliance, or regulatory matters.

- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, legal risk assessment, and corporate governance principles.

- Ability to interpret legislation and translate legal requirements into practical business guidance.

- Exposure to compliance areas such as AML, data privacy, labor law, corporate law, or regulatory compliance is preferred.

- Experience within professional services, consulting, audit, tax, or advisory environments will be advantageous.

- Strong research, analytical, stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a remote, cross-border environment.
