Job Summary

Vamara Group is looking for an experienced Senior Chartered Accountant to oversee and independently manage the accounting functions across all Vamara businesses.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end accounting, finalization of accounts, balance sheet closure, and preparation of management accounts, along with the ability to take complete ownership of financial and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage end-to-end accounting functions across Vamara businesses.
- Handle finalization of accounts and ensure timely closure of books.
- Prepare and review balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and management accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain proper financial records.
- Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and other stakeholders as required.




- Identify accounting issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of accounting practices across different businesses.

Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Strong experience in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in finalization of accounts and balance sheet closure.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to independently manage accounting functions with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience handling accounts for multiple businesses/entities will be an added advantage.
