Description:

Abhijith Preman & Co. LLP is a Chartered Accountancy and transaction advisory firm with offices in Bengaluru, Cochin and Calicut. We work with growth-stage startups and SMEs across Virtual CFO engagements, financial modelling, due diligence, fundraising advisory and transaction structuring.

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Calicut office for an 8-month project engagement. This is a hands-on role with direct client exposure from day one.

What you will be doing

- Own the end-to-end accounting for assigned client entities, including month-end close, ledger scrutiny, bank and party reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly MIS and management reporting packs, and present the numbers along with the variances and explanations.
- Review the work of the Junior Associate, correct errors before they reach the client, and be accountable for the accuracy of what goes out.
- Handle routine statutory workings and filings - GST, TDS and related compliances - and track due dates for the entities you own.




- Support financial modelling, due diligence and transaction workstreams as the engagement requires.
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for client finance teams, and escalate the things that need partner attention.

What we are looking for

- CA Intermediate qualified, with articleship completed. 1 to 2 years of post-articleship experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books, and solid MS Excel skills.
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills. You will be managing a junior and dealing with client teams directly, so the ability to communicate clearly matters as much as the technical work.
- Prior exposure to Virtual CFO engagements, due diligence or financial modelling carries added weightage.
